Project Overview

Trueform was commissioned by Northern Rail to deliver a complete solution for passenger shelter infrastructure at Cramlington Station. Our premium Flight shelter was selected as the ideal solution for the busy rail environment, providing durability, safety, and enhanced passenger comfort.
 

The shelter was designed and constructed using stainless steel and toughened glazing, with integrated lighting to improve visibility and security. Trueform ensured the structure met strict rail platform criteria, making it suitable for high-speed rail environments.

• 4-Bay Enclosed Flight Shelters: Robust, durable, and designed for the rail environment.

• Integrated Passenger Facilities:

  • 6-sheet double-sided illuminated advertising panel

  • 38’’ TFT screen displaying passenger information, weather, and news

  • 3-person perch seating

  • 2-person seat with armrest

• High-Quality Materials & Engineering: Stainless steel, toughened glazing, and precision manufacturing to meet structural and operational standards.

• Additional Seating Supply: Following the shelter installation, Northern Rail commissioned over 150 seats (2, 3, and 4-person options) manufactured at Trueform’s West London facility.
